Deuteronomy 6:7 teaches us: “And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.” God calls us to guide the next generation toward the path of eternity.

In a world overflowing with distractions and temporary pleasures, children need to be taught where true direction comes from. We must lead them to seek God first—because when they ask Him for guidance, He will direct their steps. When no one else stands beside them, God will. He alone leads His children toward eternal glory.

Just as a sheep recognizes the voice of its shepherd, our hearts—and the hearts of our children—must be shaped to hear God’s voice. When their ears are tuned to Him, they will walk confidently on the path that leads to everlasting life.
